Part of a traditional Irish breakfast known as an Ulster fry, fried bread is used to sop up and enjoy all the delicious parts of the meal. Fried bread is a way to re-purpose leftover pieces of soda bread called farls from the night before. It takes just a few minutes to prepare, and also can be used to make sandwiches.
