This bread is made with fine flour and is crisp and crunchy when fresh. The name, pan de horno, means “bread from the oven” in Spanish. Similar to the white breads found in Italian and French cuisines, pan de horno is easy to make at home. Using bread flour, rather than all-purpose flour, is necessary to produce the full flavor and authentic texture of the loaf.
