Simit are Turkey’s signature unleavened bagels. Dotted with poppy or sesame seeds, these nutty, tasty breads are lighter and less calorie-dense than Western bagels. They are also sugar-free and do not need to be boiled before baking as many bagels do. Enjoy simit fresh out the oven and topped with cream cheese and lox for a delicious and healthy meal.
