Deep fried Oreos arrived on the food scene through the Los Angeles County Fair in 2002. Charlie Boghosian, known as, “the man who fries everything,” invented the preparation, which is now found at fairs and carnivals throughout the country. Here, Oreos are dipped in batter and fried, putting a spin on a classic American treat.
