A steak bomb is a hot beef sandwich that’s believed to originate in Connecticut. Origin stories trace to a restaurant called Louis’ Lunch, also thought to be the site where the first hamburger was created. The sandwich, popular throughout New England, includes thin-sliced beef, with onions, peppers, and cheese delivering a savory meal.
