Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 head lettuce, cut into pieces of desired size
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 1 tsp sugar
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- Salt, to taste
- Ground black pepper, to taste
Directions
- Cook bacon until crisp. Transfer the bacon to paper towel to drain. Reserve the bacon grease.
- Combine lettuce and green onions in a mixing bowl.
- Crumble bacon into bits over lettuce and onions.
- Into the pan of bacon grease over low heat, whisk sugar, vinegar, salt, and pepper, until sugar is dissolved.
- Pour this dressing onto the salad and toss quickly.
- Serve warm.
