Ingredients
Candied Pecans:
- 3 Tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp warm water
- 1–2 cups pecan halves
Apple Cider Vinaigrette:
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- ½ Tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp dry oregano leaves
- ½ Tbsp dry basil leaves
- ½ Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup olive oil
Salad:
Directions
- Mix water and powdered sugar.
- Place pecans on parchment paper and brush with the powdered sugar mixture.
- Bake pecans at 275°F for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Combine cider vinegar, garlic, oregano, basil, Dijon mustard, pepper, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Add olive oil gradually and whisk to mix thoroughly.
- Remove roots and cut each head of Bibb lettuce into quarters.
- Toss with apple cider vinaigrette, blue cheese, candied pecans, and sliced strawberries.
- Arrange on a serving platter.
