Ingredients
- 3 cups fresh fiddlehead ferns, ends trimmed
- 3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ½ tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
Directions
- Boil salted water in a large cooking pot.
- Boil ferns until barely tender, about 7–10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and drain.
- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium high heat.
- Stir in lightly cooked ferns, garlic, salt, and ground black pepper.
- Cook for about 5 minutes until ferns are lightly browned.
- Remove from heat and dress ferns with lemon juice.
