This recipe is easy to prepare and delivers a classic dip with wide appeal. There are many dip recipes in which spinach is the main ingredient as it combines well with many ingredients and adds heft. Dips like this became popular in the 1950s, when eating in front of the TV was a new trend. Spinach dips go especially well with tortilla chips, although bread, crackers, or even potato chips may also be used.
