Dessert is not particularly common in Vietnam, as fresh fruit is more popular. For certain festive or special occasions, however, simple desserts like this coconut custard may follow a meal or be served on their own.

Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 cup sugar
Directions
- Beat eggs, sugar, and coconut milk until frothy.
- Pour into ramekins.
- Place in a steamer over boiling water.
- Cover and steam for 20 minutes or until set.
- Chill before serving.
