Dessert is not particularly common in Vietnam, as fresh fruit is more popular. For certain festive or special occasions, however, simple desserts like this coconut custard may follow a meal or be served on their own.

  1. Beat eggs, sugar, and coconut milk until frothy.
  2. Pour into ramekins.
