This sandwich was one of Elvis Presley’s favorites, though the combination of ingredients may seem a bit strange at first glance. It’s a creamy and salty combo and if it was good enough for The King,…well, maybe just give it a try! Using any kind of bread or nut butter offers different variations.

Ingredients
- 2 slices white bread
- 1 banana, peeled and sliced
- 3 slices cooked bacon
- 1½ tsp butter
Directions
- Spread peanut butter on one side of one slice of white bread.
- Add sliced banana on top of the peanut butter.
- Top with cooked bacon slices and cover with the other slice of bread.
- Melt butter in a pan over low-to-medium heat.
- Fry sandwich in a pan until browned, about 2 minutes on each side.
