Frozen Yogurt

Yogurt first came to the United States in the early 1900s, and by the 1930s prepackaged yogurt had hit store shelves. With consumers looking for a healthy alternative to ice cream, frozen yogurt began being produced by the 1970s. Today frozen yogurt varieties range from tart, like the original recipe, to a sweeter version similar to ice cream, and they can be found in a range of flavors with toppings such as fruit or candy.
